Ok, this is no show, just an invite to anyone who would like to bring their car, have a chat and an American meal in an American diner. The meet will take place at Buddy's American diner, Wellingborough on the A45 Westbound towards Peterborough on Thursday 14th August from 6.00pm onwards. Very near Billing and Santa Pod so should be easy to find) All are VERY welcome, be it musclecars, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s etc, trucks, rods, dayvans, bikes... Whatever you fancy bringing. You don't have to have a yank to come and don't need to be affiliated to any club. We just want to see you there. Think of this as a mid season gathering. The menu is good and there is currently a crunch buster menu that will allow you to eat from £5.99 per person. If you fancy having a drink, there is a Travelodge on site too, as well as a petrol station. This is a chance for people who adore American cars to chat and gather informally and hopefully for some old friendships to be revisited and may be the odd bridge rebuilt. Please try and come to this one, it is not a show so none of that van food, buying stuff you really wouldn't normally malarky. There's no entrance fee and people can stay as long as they like.
