Still waiting on details, but cool story that goes with this below. In summary, lady who purchased the first ever mustang, has kept it in her family still to this day and they will be at the unveiling in Michigan today.

Interesting styling... I quite like it, certainly more than the current ones, but it has lost the 'classic' Mustang lines a bit that made it popular. Sort of looks like a cross betwen the current one and a Toyota GT86

Mot interesting is the use of independant rear suspension which will liven things up a bit with the handling competitions and comparisons with European cars.. And the option of a turbo 4 cylinder Ecoboost making 300+ bhp..

Back and sides look good but I'm not won over by the front, it looks a bit too much like the standard line up... focus / taurus.

Will be interesting when a tuning company comes along and makes an Eleanor kit for it

Here's a vid for some more angles. Slightly awkward marketing team talking a lot about branding throughout:

Drove past a gorgeous cherry red and black 70-73 mustang earlier, only a couple of streets away. Never seen it before and looked mint. Pretty much slammed on the brakes and said aloud f*ck ye.

Then i got home and saw this pic on Facebook

They've lost the plot with that one I think, having moved on from the styling cues that made the car soooo popular in the first place, it could just be any old Japanese car now. Certainly doesn't say "Mustang" to me, more Nissan, Mitsubishi etc. Looks like the Camaro should sell well against that in the future   .

cheers...Nige
