Classic road/comedies....
Just looked him up, and he was more well known as a stuntman, and did loads of westerns before hooking up with Burt Reynolds, and after that his land speed record attempts in the Budweiser Rocket.

Not long did director Richard C. Sarafian pass on (Vanishing Point), now we commemorate Hal Needham. Thanks for Smokey & The Bandit good sir. Those films pretty much were my childhood and later on in life that f-body is still my existence. Then of course the whole Cannonball thing which had an interesting impact on my life at this time last year.
