I am a new member as of 4-10 I live in a small town north of Detroit approx 40 miles the name of this town ironically is Oxford. I once owned a 70 camaro SS but that was many years ago .I currently drive a blown injected hemi powered 66 nova ,the paint color is house of color hot pink pearl there is a story behind the chosen color which I wont go into detail at this point.I have been into hot rodding for more years than I care to admit.I was very astonished to see the amount of interest in american sheet metal many of you have, and the detail and sence of pride you take in them. Many of us here love our cars but the real factor is seeing the response of other people when they first lay eyes on your vehicle . I get more people asking me why a Hemi in a chevy my response would you be standing here talking to me if I had a small block in there OK I have said enough for now Thank You for such a good site DAN

Nige, There is a bit of a story on color selection, many years ago the nova was bonzi blue ,running a blown 388ci.chev. I asked my wife to go to a car show with me . My wife never did care for the loud 3" flow master exaust which dumped out in front of the rear tire. While she was inside changing cloths I rinsed the car off, she came out and I fired up the car guess where she was standing right at my exhaust pipe I dont need to say any more. In 1994 I decided to repaint the car having my wife in mind I decided on hot pink pearl (her nickname is pinky).Actually the car color is not a brite pink many people see it as a shade of purpledepending on how the light hits the pearl. Also I am having a time getting pic.s on my new computer as soon as I figure it out I will post them. Regards 66 NOVA
