Who uses their Camaro throughout the winter? Looking through my history I noticed it,s been sorned every year for 6 months. I,ve just stuck 12 months tax on her so it,ll be out on the odd dry day. Anyone sorn their cars? |

I SORN mine. I basically go to the Battlesbridge show, have an awesome last blast up the A130 and A12 home, then put £30 petrol in, put her right up against the side wall of the garage (so its easy to get visitors' vehicles in the other side and open doors), top up all fluids and put the sheet over her. Sad day. Only V8 action I get until 1st April is to start her and run her to temperature every Sunday evening, I also pull forward in each gear to moisten the gearbox and stop the brakes binding. Sad day. |

I can understand both sides of the debate to be fair. I fall somewhere between the two. I don,t like the idea of the car sitting for extended periods of time and not moving. In saying that it didn't do my machine any harm but I can say the underside has benefitted as a result of no winter use. |

Not a Camaro but like Nigel, I have always had my Mustangs on the road all year round for the past 33 years. Had a few 'interesting' moments but still here in one piece. Cheers, Martin |

In the past I used Camaros and Firebirds as daily drivers, but they were more available back then and my cars were not rare models with high values. When my hardtop gets back on the road it will be garaged and will be a dry weather car for all year round but not when the roads are salted, mainly Jan and Feb. Spent too much time rebuilding it to let the lousy climate destroy it ! |

Mine is used most days of the year, except when I'm off work. It's been well undersealed, but there's still a few places that I need to give some time to. As time goes by though, the idea of spending a grand on a grocery getter for those wet days is getting more and more appealing. |

That`s where I am mate. The idea of leaving the Z28 in Tescos to come back to see woman leaning a trolley against it while she unloads her shopping into her car or driving it through hills of rock salt when the council over do it in winter freaks me out.I have a Renault Clio for those `duties`. |
