Well summer's here, so hope all you lovely Camaro owning folk have been out and about in your noisy antisocial cars... I certainly have  ..

Racked up a quite a few miles in the last 5 days or so, as I've been using the pink beastie every day if possible... Unfortnately I need to use the van for the next few days so not looking forward to being stuck in diesel hell :( ..

Who else has been out burning our fossil fuels ?

Certainly amazing weather to be cruising around, wish i could be in the Camaro :( It would be amazing to be pulling into the work car park behind these convertible 206's, in the camaro with open headers

Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
As my Firebird is a work in progress I have been enjoying 2 wheeled pleasures in the current warm spell 8-)
Rode down to The Harte and Magpies [ also known as the South Bucks meet ] at Coleshill just outside Amersham last night. This is a regular event every 2nd Tuesday of the month and they get a good selection of Muscle, Cruisers, Trucks, Choppers and Hotrods , also some interesting modern stuff like TVRs Astons etc.
Nice easy going meet, worth going to if you are in the area and the weather is fine .
Lots of good rides there last night including a very clean red '68 RS and a white t-top 3rd gen bearing a club sticker...anyone here ?

yep, still limited. I've got a Ford guy hopefully reloading all the software this week or next, and worse way, I'll have to get a new ECU (+ all associated other stuff) off a breaker.
Not the end of the world, as i'm not caning the fuel sitting at 68mph :D

Quite a few TVR boys I know go to that regularly...

(you're bike is lovely by the way, if I wasn't such a wus, i'd be tempted by bike ownership)

My old IROC was the nearest I ever came to owning a convertible, I had the roofs of every possible moment and loved every minute of it !!!! :D

You can`t beat the "What kinda car is that?" questions.

Sure beats the usual Scooby brigade :lolno: :lolno:

In saying that, a Borla exhaust help the questions along.

I've heard 'Knight rider!' and 'Back To The Future' yelled in the last two weeks.
Also, town's full of tourists. Pulled into the multi-storey, parked next to an older couple who'd just arrived.
When I turned the car off, he looked at me said "Well, that's better now."
"Sorry, it's as they come from the factory." I said with a smile. "Lovely isn't it?"
