I agree with all the above but didnt it smell nice!!!
When i was a lad sniffing the exhaust fumes from the ol chaps vauxhall victor !!!

I really don't know why anyone bothers. SUL has enough octane for genuine 11:1 or more, and is readily available and nowhere near £2.36/L. As for the lead issue, been running mine without for years (so have all the other engines I built) and no problems so far. In fact I am now firmly in the camp that believes that lead in petrol caused more harm than good overall. Cheers, Martin |
