"Hello Tim,
On Sunday May 12th we will be shooting a film in Steeple Morden (Cambridgeshire) and I would like to discuss hiring a Camaro for the film. I know this is very late notice, but we had someone that has just cancelled on us, and we are looking for a left hand drive Camaro for the shoot. In the scene, the car would be parked on the side of the road, except for one shot where it drives away. Filming will happen between 9:30am and 8:30pm.

The film takes place on a large country road nearby that will fill in for the iconic routes through America (think similar to Route 66), and your car would fit perfectly into this atmosphere. So you can get an idea of our filmmaking, here is a trailer for the last film we shot, which took place in 1955 London: http://vimeo.com/19909441

In exchange for the owner's help, we would like to offer our services and take professional photos, so they can have beautiful photos of their car for any occasion. At the moment we can also offer £100 for the day. I'd be happy to go over all the details if you're interested, and please don't hesitate to contact me.

Would you happen to know any owners who might be interested? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Jacob Migicovsky

"Dear jacob

I shall post up your request when i land
travelling all today

Pity filming is not in Scotland as we are towing camilla to inverness from IOM today

I think you should be a bit more generous with the fees since £100 does not go far at 15 mpg and £6 a gallon!

he tells me that problem has been solved

I have to say that initially offering £100 and a photoshoot for a classic camaro for a day is not much these days of £6 per gallon fuel and around 16 mpg!

I have charged iro £1000 plus disbursements per day for Camilla/Butch for filmwork/advertising = Butch needs to be trailered and accompanied by self or ANO who knows what they are doing (so as not to burn clutch etc!)

anyway at least he is happy.............

I saw the post at around 2am sat night when I got home, though about replying offering services, but I was back out at 5am to help out on a big TVR run through London, and ended up at Brooklands until 1pm.

Agree £100 isn't great money for a whole day hanging around + fuel etc..
