Now people this is some book!

The book has some amazing photos of truly iconic muscle cars- but there again this is not new

What is different is the quality control in selecting the crucial cars in each era and describing them with words and pictures entirely accurately- and each car is the real original deal with correct hoses etc

The book is divided into:
The Innocent Years
The Excessive Years
The Declining Years

which beautifully encapsulates the rise and fall of the entire Muscle car genre- the author really knows his stuff as expected the Camaro ZL1 427 and COPO cars are featured as well as the Mustang equivalents with a frank resume of all. For eg the 429 Boss Mustang really wasn't that good out of the dealer- and a stock 428 Cobra Jet would do the job perhaps better unless the 429 were "sorted"!

I would commend this book to any Musclecar enthusiast - with the definitive versions of the most iconic cars of the genre well presented and described.

I agree, I've had a copy of this book for a couple of years now.

A great addition for anyone looking to build their knowledge of classic muscle - the photos are exquisite!
