Oh dear, not good :( What is the £30.55 for? Is it an excess or something? If you didn't claim i can't see how that will have affected anything :?

Well they can stuff it then. If you didn't claim then they are falsely forcing a fee on you for a service you did not solicit. They'll need to prove you made a claim in writing, if they wish to pursue.

Oh man. I had that in 2007. A woman ran into the back of my Jeep as it sat at the bottom of my drive when I was 6 miles away at work.
She had been doing make up or something and drove off the road and up my drive. My insurance company absolutely polluted the life out of me to make a claim (which I did not) then informed me as I was involved in a `not at fault` incident my future policies would be affected. In reality some companies took it onboard and it did affect my pricing (ridiculous) and some didn`t.
So much for sharing information. Insurance companies are extorting theives. Plain and simple. The people who make fraudulent claims are no worse than them.
