I agree! Many cars are built that way though, have the 'right' parts but either do not perform as they should or simply are not used hard...ever. Much like the current 'Pro-Touring' craze with Musclecars, made to look like racers but not raced. I also seriously doubt that much of the highly-touted suspension parts sold to allegedly improve the handling of these cars actually do much if any good. My years in Historic racing have shown that the
right mods to stock suspension work well enough - I would love to do a 10 or 15 lap 'comparison' with my car and one of these 'Pro-Touring' cars at a proper race circuit. Oh, and that would be
without 'trackday' rules
