Obviously owning a classic American car can be a labour of love, especially when carrying out maintenance or repairs. What do you think your strengths & weaknesses are when working on your car? My pet hate has to be electrics, as it all seems so damn confusing. One of my friends tried to talk me through it but it was as if he was speaking Martian to me

EZ 28, Ill have to say that detailing my machine is the exact term of labor of love. How meteculious one takes the effort in "detail". What products one uses to achieve the cleanest looking result. armorall the interior bleechwhite the raised white letters on the tires and trying to seperate it from wheel chrome or alloy cleaner/polish. Painting the splash pans with black undercoat so wheel wells look "BLACK" and no mud. Lube to mechanical moving hinges and cleaning off the excess. Let us not forget the windows that require care from the inside and outside and mind the fresh armorall One can burn up an entire day cleaning and detailing only to have one rain bugger it all up. Cleaning and detail .....never enough time in a day !!! regards Dave |
