Well chaps, a very happy young man parted ways with his hard earned and I ended the relationship I had with my Z28. We had some good times, we had some bad (not many really) but now she's with a new lover who's going to care for her better than I could.
I know the owner is happy because I took the car for an MOT (German equivalent) with him on Monday night and they pulled tested everything. Needed 2 new wheel bearings, new rear pads, new track or ends, new brake fluid and there was a tiny oil leak coming from an unknown location.
I knocked €500 off my asking price which was already cheap and we agreed the deal. The great thing is that this guy wanted exactly this car. He doesn't like the later 4th gens., he wanted only arctic white and of course the mileage is less than 50k and the bodywork is in tip-tip condition. He calls her Rosemary now.
I'm keeping my eye on another Z28 at the moment but with the new day van coming I might not be around as much on here as I have been recently.
I like this forum alot. I wish I could buy you all a day van and stay here but alas, I can barely afford the one I've got !
