Anyone running fibreglass panels on their Camaro? Hood, front fenders etc? Any impact on the insurance premiums? Always noticed in my modified car declarations that it asked about panels replaced with GRP.... TIA |

I've got fibreglass rear bumper and whole rear quarters, and declare them, but the car has so many other mods I doubt if it has any impact on insurance premium. You'll have to declare your subframe connectors, brake up grade, wheels, suspension, engine mods etc... so don't think it'll add anything in the big picture. |

Thanks, yeah true enough. Just wondered if they kicked up a fuss about them or not as it was a specific question on my last renewal (Flux). We'll see I guess! Got a massive list of stuff to add to the policy on renewal. Kinda wonder how much it will be as it was £300 without any major mods |

Only thing that was ever an issue was the roll cage last year, and trying to get track cover... Best deal and what I wanted was through Classicline this year... |

Hoping, come next summer, cover will be easier to get. Of all the so called 'American Specialists' only flux would insure me as I hadn't got any experience of LHD.... Everyone else wanted at least 1 yrs experience. |

never had an issue even with my 1st yank many moons ago (1990 chevy beretta) went with flux at the time as was the cheapest but other insurers would not touch due to my age at the time (was under25) ouch how time flies |
