Here's some pics of the "Interstellar Overdrive" guitar I've just finished painting, prior to being rebuilt. Again a very easy thing to do as it's almost all free hand. The owner wanted to have that deep space sort of look with the "galactic clouds" & planets

Why does this remind me of the late 70's? I lost my car to a starship trooper sounds familiar?
As usual, impressive work
Cheers, Martin

I had an hour or so of free time yesterday so I was able to knock this out on a bit of old hardboard as a practice piece before I do it for real on a guitar. Next time I'm hoping to get it a bit better, it's just a little more awkward as it's only 4" high. I just wanted to see what techniques I'd have to use to get it looking something like the Ghost Rider. The teeth & jawline need some work & maybe sharpen up the flames a bit, but I ran out of time as I had to run family errands :lolno:
