went on a mini Rally around the TT circuit in order to launch our team for the 2012 Lanzarote IRONMAN competition
The Manx Triathlon Team
to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis

Chum of mine's family has been touched by this and two of his sons are in the team!

He is a classic car enthusist so got all of us to accompany the bicycle team to launch the event.

mind you we had an easy time compared to the guys who had to pedal the whole 37 miles!

details can be seen at: http://www.ironmenseeoffcf.com
Took Camilla and Herman- lovely day so Camilla was the firm favourite with our team!

Prepping for paint - while i'm waiting for paint to arrive:

Have a big order arriving from NPD this week, so will have:

Front and rear poly suspensions bushing - taking apart and reworking front and rear suspensions with new bushings, ball joints, lowered springs on front, trying to figure out how best to lower rear.

Changing out front subframe mounts for poly bushings

Dropping fuel tank, adding it to the list of things to paint :)

Installing new rear fuel lines, relocating fuel pump (over axle exhaust hits fuel pump)

Installing / building exhaust system

Re-upholstering rear seats (finishing off the interior :) )

Thank goodness we have a bank holiday coming up!

p.s those headers - they are flowmaster headers but in stainless steel. works out about £200 with shipping added and with customs / VAT ontop. Still pretty decent for stainless!!

I've changed the front indicator lens for clear ones. Fitted the later model chrome wheels (£99 win off EBay!! Result) some new tyres (not so good). I've took the horrible huge side repeaters off then completly ballsed up the paintwork up after filling the holes! The paint reacted badly and looked like an elephants arse!! No deciding if Im gonna pay a bodyshop a large amount of dosh to do it or have another bash myself!
