I know Martin Thomas had an Ovaltine sponsored car that later became 'Flame Out' with WMG Marketing sponsorship. I think the one in the picture could be John Hine but i'll have to go and have a look through all the stuff on my hard drive.

Love to see these old racing shots, thanks for posting them. :)

Edit: I just noticed the other Camaro in the background. Is that Brian Muir's 'Wiggins Teape' car?

Brian (yogi) muir drove the wiggens teape car which was blue,at the time there were a few 67/8 camero,s raceing in this series.Frank Gardner drove the later SCA car and won the saloon car championship. The early car was given to Frank who took it back to australia as far as i know. The later car was bought as a standard manuel Z28,it was orange with black stripes.Within a week of the team getting the car it was stripped to a bare shell, the 350 cube engine was put into the chevy tow van and a special ally big block engine was built for the car.So much money went into the car the company went bankrupt a few years later Image

Yikes! You mean that one Camaro brought down the whole organisation? Have to be careful with the finances!
Love the stories and pics, please keep them coming, it is an era that I just missed out on personally but would have loved to have been involved with.
Cheers, Martin
