Sounds like a right pain, what's the problems? I have no idea about house wiring but i wouldn't imagine it to take more than a couple of weeks solid. Is it because its been redone a fair few times in its history that you get to a point where you have to undo a load of progress as you find new issues? Or is it just a bad sparky doin it
I guess there's only less and less to do now? how is the fam coping with cooking / tv etc with the wires always running out of juice? can you maybe use your camaro as a generator
A right pain is an understatement. The electricians is NICEIC certificated so he knows what he's doing, but his father was admitted to hospital on the second week with a heart attack, so he's been back & forth there, plus I think that now he's behind, he's having to keep other people sweet as well, as he's behind with other peoples work. Because we've had to keep power here as we're living in the house, he's had to try & route all of the new cables in & then systematically remove the old stuff & connect the new. He said that there's over 800 metres of cable gone in so far
Originally he said it was only gonna take 10 days, thank God we're on a fixed price. The computer's off & on all day as is the rest of the electric. When he's here, he's here til 6 oclock or so & thats on Saturdays & Sundays, so there's just no peace from it all. If he'd only turn up at 9 in the morning instead of mid day he'd have it all done by now. Sorry if there's spelling mistakes or bad grammar, but I've been on the Bud as it's numbs the pain of what's going on
cheers...Nige
