Well this sort of makes me laugh - my father's seen a Jensen Interceptor. The garage said they'd do a deal against MY IROC-Z!
Now, I've pointed out to him that this would mean the Jensen becomes my daily, and once we move it on I'd be expecting a proportionate percentage of the proceeds.
Which I'll then use to buy another Camaro.

What do you all think?
Lunacy?

Ok, I'll bite...what in the hell is a Jensen Interceptor? And who the hell is Jensen? And what, excatly, does he intercept? I'd stay with the IROC. What year? TPI motor? Auto or manual?

Jenson Interceptors seem to be worth way more than IROC's if in good condition..
But they suffer from the rot badly, and they drink fuel like you wouldn't believe..
So daily driver use may be optimistic, unless you do about 2 miles a day..

70's styling and a Chrysler big Block , what's not to like.. !

Interesting looking car--and with a MOPAR big block, I'd imagine that it would be pretty thirsty. What does it have, a 440? If it had an option for the 426 hemi, that would be quite an investment...and far more valuable than the IROC

See Classic Car this month - they have a write up on one. 7.2 litres, not sure if that's what you're looking at!

Still it's all in the eye of the beholder!

I still like my 5.7 doing 28mpg. All enough but manageable.

Yeah - turns out the car has no history with it either. And we've still to hear it run, let alone take her for a spin.
And at the very least, she needs two new leaf springs in the rear as she's sitting with the rear wheels tucked well up.
Had a poke over with a magnet, and she seems fairly straight.
I'm trying to convince my Dad to have a punt - but without my Camaro going in it's place!

Key thing with Jensens is whether it is an SP or not.

The SP came with triple 2 V carbs and was a much hotter 440 CID

most of these have been changed back to a big Holley- because they are so difficult to tune- but the SP is the one to have

I know of an allegedly beautiful one on IOM- belonging to a recent widow

Not my scene- I beleive the front suspension is a poor design - being early Triumph with trunnions that need constant greasing
