Hi all,
I've just bought 1997 3.8 Camaro after a year or so out of the American car scene. Previously owned a 83 and 95 Mustangs, Dodge Daytona ( Chrysler Laser) 3rd Gen Z28 and 71 Satellite. Very happy to be back!! Any NFL fans out there? :D

I get my daughter to upload some pictures. It's 30th anniversary model mechanical excellent, paint work in places is cracked and the wheels have painted black (unfortunately). The exhaust is blowing a bit from the back otherwise top notch. Yeah I've owned a few the 71 Plymouth was one of those labour of love cars that had be virtually rebuilt, and by the end of it your drained( a bit like being married.)
Any members from Birmingham ?

Welcome to the site. Not sure about the black wheels, I know alot of people like them but they are not my cup of tea. I do like the bonnet though, looks really mean. Was that standard for the anerversary model?

Cheers Gerry

Not to my knowledge the hood is the same as another pre facelift 4th Gen. The only difference is the houndstooth interior with 30th embroidered on the seat covers. I chose it because of the 3.8 engine and it had the options I wanted ie T tops working air con and half decent mileage. Got to sort the wheels and exhaust out though.

You are right. I had never noticed the vents in the bonnet before.

I also spent awhile looking for the one I've got. I'ts real good on fuel, plenty fast enough for our roads and it's fun to drive.

Have your wheels been painted black or are they originals?

Cheers Gerry
