well chaps i went out for a few small drives today testing out the car and doing some last miniute checks and well im grinning ear to ear again

i see 1 mustang {new one} a another yellow american car old style didnt catch the make/model but the guy did give me a wave :thumbup:

the brakes at the rear had a few issues but sorted that now suspension feels cool it has its power back and the general feel of the car is alot better

im happy as a pig in sh*t still loads to go but its drivable for the summer the other bits i can do as and when

looking forward to getting to meet some of you guys at some meets :thumbup:

Good on ya mate :) another Camaro ready to go! bet it must have been the best drive of the year for you! Glad it's driveable now, you've made great progress on it in such a short time. what's left to do?

oh yes they where only local but it felt good

still to do loads lol

sort out all the loose /defunct wiring in the engine bay, change the wings over that i got off rocky, source and fit a passenger door, replace the remaining parts of brown trim seat belts door cards centre consul carpet ect

i want to take the engine out at some point and clean the engine bay paint and maybe throw in a 350 in replacement for my 305 { this will come when its sprayed over the winter period}

make a new headliner and fit new t top seals and door seals

theres probally more but im in no major rush now its drivable

after it being laid up for 8 monthes i want to drive it a bit but most of what i have to do can be done in 1 or 2 day slots now, but to be honest im impatient when it comes to cars looking right so now im driving the old girl it will piss me off enough to pull me finger out and get it done

mind you i was looking at a gen 2 restoration project on ebay the other day :shock:
