The Camaro Club (UK)

Guys, I think this has been mentioned before but any thoughts on meeting up this year ?

I know some of you have cars in various stages of build and it might be too soon to talk about getting together because of that. Looking at the regions, most of us (it seems) come from the South (ish). Maybe somewhere along the M4 corridor, ACW's lazy Sunday near Reading springs to mind, is that to soon ? what do you all think ? are we going to be a Club ? I know, questions, questions and not enough answers

I think it's a great idea although I might be able to make it myself, I think everyone should show at least once that there's a good crowd of Camaro owners out there.

Throw a few dates into the air and see which is most popular. I do have to MOT mine in June so I might be up for a 1500 mile round trip - you never know.

I had hoped the regional section of the forum may through a few of you together, we have now got a map on the homepage too.

Come on guys, get yourselves to a show!

I guess if someone says..."I'm going to xxx show", then you can all meet up. Some shows we will need to pre-reg a club area I suppose?

Lazy Sunday is on May 17th. It's hosted by American Car World magazine and is " a strictly laid back affair " so we can roll up and meet without feeling we're on show as a club. I'm sure we could ask if we can park together, plus you never know, we may even get our ugly mugs in the magazine

Lazy Sunday looks like a good show, not been there before so will def give it look.
Lets get as many cars there as poss

I'll try & come along, but I'm not sure if the car's gonna be totally finished & on the road by then by then. It'd be good to meet up even if we don't get a lot of cars out that early in the year, as we can at least put faces to names & "shoot the breeze" Cheers..........Nige

Of course we're a club even if it is an online one at the moment It just takes people like yourself & the others that come on here to make it work, posting up things on the forum, arranging to meet up at shows etc. This " club" forum has come on dramatically over the past few months & it can only get better if people join in & get involved. Once the show season starts then hopefully things will really take off.
