i went to db motors yesterday to collect my new windscreen and while a was there i asked if i could have a look around so martin showed me around and some of the cars he has there are unberlieveable he showed me a 78 camaro that had been there that long it had about sunk in to the floor then he showed me part of the yard and said under them bushes are 3 70-73 camaros 2 transams of the same year a 60s buick and a couple of other things i was shocked i looked under the bushes and saw the remaines of another 78 camaro then to the left of were i was standing there was a 77 transam with t tops rottern to the core and a 74 pontiac grand prix also rottern to the core then as i was walking back down the yard i saw a 70 buick gs then not far away was a 79 transam under another bush i was quite sad as i left i thort what a great bunch of cars wasted but the place is defo worth a look.

none of the old stuff is salvageable at all they are realy rottern a think by the looks of that 77 transam and the camaros they will fall apart if they are moved they are that bad  he has a few 3rd gen camaros and transams that still looked good and an 80s mustang and 80s cadilac an a couple of other things. he told me he wants to clear all the old stuff and just deal with selling new parts.

you need to ring before you go or he wont let you in ye ano because i was looking for an early 2nd gen project but the 1s he has you cant see for bushed and he says they have been there atleast 20 years so iam guessing by the look of the rest of the cars there they will be way past repair :(

There might still be some salvageable parts on them though. Last time I spoke to them, which was many years ago, I found them to be very unhelpfull in selling stuff

cheers...Nige

I bought a new sill/rocker panel and a NOS windscreen from DB Motors about a year and a bit ago.. he is a funny old boy to deal with, but has many good stories and used to circuit race himself, and DB used to sponsor a V8 race series back in the early 70's.
When I was there the yard was full of old dogs.. Most of those cars have been there many years and will be beyond repair unless you own your own body shop, and have a nothing else to do..
