Well it's a month and a half into a New Year, fresh page and all that... So what are your car and driving plans for 2011.. ?

Personally I'm gonna try and do at least one European tour - not sure what yet, probably late summer

get more stuff done to the Camaro to make even meaner: New tyres, locate battery to boot, 6 point cage, G braces, sort electrics, fit spherical bushes in rear springs, maybe a body tidy up.

hoping to change the Mitsubishi VR4 for another quickish estate barge - BMW 5 series maybe

try and do at least 6 - 8 trackdays - already booked Snetterton for March 29th

try and get to Le Mans - unlikely at the moment

and do as many charitable events as I can - still waiting for dates

and of course as many regular events, Ace Cafe meets, Goodwood runs, tunnel runs etc.. as possible

I'm sure work and life will try and stop me but that's my plans at the moment... anyone else. ?

I'm gonna try & drive my car as much as possible this year. Hopefully looking to do a few sprints, plus take the car to the drags just to put a time to it. Might do a show or two, but not really into shows that much. I prefer driving than parking on grass. All time & money permitting of course.

That's the trouble with moving to a large house like I did recently, do I spend money doing up the house & garage (well yes, the garage  ) or spend it on the nicer things in life, like enjoying yourself with your car. It's gonna have to be a fine balancing job methinks

cheers....Nige

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

My plan includes the South of France, so will do a few miles getting there. Other than that, if there is a get together I will have a go at that etc. Motor shows, depends on where and who's going.

I'm with you Nige. I like to drive my cars not park them and look at them all day long and talk about cars.

I am planning to do a track time in Nurburg Ring in Germany this spring/summer. I just bought new set of rear tires 295/35/18s and waiting for them to arrive here. Once I get my tourist passport completed, it's on. :D
