Hi all,

Is anyone a paying member?

Just got my renewal through and not sure if it's worth renewing? Wonder if anyone is a member and what benefits they get?

Cheers!

Ray

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

If you have a classic car insurance policy, some will require you to have some sort of club membership - which is all done through Motorvatin USA, regardless whether you affiliate yourself to the Classic Camaro Club, Chevy Club, Ford Club etc.

I renewed my insurance today, and they will be checking my club membership number.

hth

Cheers
Mark

Oh yes forgot about the insurance part! Are there any other benefits? I think members used to get magazines, but that seemed to have stopped a few years ago. What's the whole affiliation deal with Motorvatin etc? Is it like an umbrella organistion or something?

I'm not a club member as I don't do clubs  , but I had a very good price for my insurance through a company called Hagerty, who specialise in our types of cars. The cost was £230.00 fully comp, which I thought was very good, especially with the agreed value I put on the car :lolno:

cheers...Nige
