Hi everyone

Just discovered the site and wanted to say hello.
Didn't realise that you'd gone independant from the AAAAAACI/UK ?
Much better now !

I run American Auto Mags so, if I can help with magazines, books, manuals etc.,
please let me know.
If you do want to get in touch, go to http://www.americanautomags.com
where you'll see my email adress and phone number.

Pleased to say that I stock Chevy HP, Super Chevy and Camaro Performers magazines
and the new Special, Camaro Now.

I do host a monthly Meet up here in Cheshire and several clubs use it for their NW Area Meets.
First Wednesday of the month, every month and, during British Summer ( no, don't laugh ) Time
we also meet on the third Wednesday each month. Numbers obviously vary during the year,
subject to the weather but on a sunny summer's day, you can expect to be with 150 + cars / trucks.
Check out the photos on site.
Oh yea, inside the pub, I do have a display of mags for anyone who wants some reading material.

If you do come along, I'm the fella in the yellow hi-vis jacket who gives you a big smile and guides you in.

Cheers
Graham

Got the feeling that you feel offended so here's a description from Wikipaedia that describes who I mean . . .

"Boy racers refers to people, usually males in their late teens or early twenties, who "cruise" around in vehicles modified with loud exhausts and stereos, and/or modified body kits. This behavior is frowned upon by members of the public irritated by the noise and the criminal behavior associated with it. Most such cars are front-wheel drive economy cars that have been cosmetically modified."

Most yank and rod enthusiasts over here would know exactly who I mean.
Boy racers are conspicuous by their loud, selfish, loutish behaviour and their ability to spoil
a good car meet by their presence and attitude.
The fact that you are on this forum would suggest that you do not fit into that category.

Just to make it perfectly clear, I am not referring to young people who race their bikes and / or cars as a hobby or professionally. Feel free to explain how I've upset you.

maybe lost in translation there, maybe "Chav" sums it up better?

Anyways, I was wondering if there were any dedicated Van mags over there, or still jsut a sub-plot in a Truckin mag etc. :?:

Sorry Magseller,
No offence taken- just my sense of humour  ....I do tend to travel about rather rapidly (you know, outside of 30 zones)
Had 4 speeding tickets out here since I've had the Camaro!!

Glad it's heading back to UK this week!!

Hey, how long have you been over there ?
Looking forward to coming home ?

Being a dedicated law-abiding citizen, I'm sure you slowed down,
it was the car that refused to do the same, on a matter of principle !

I'm out here for a little while longer, but like I said, the car is homeward bound as we speak, I was hoping to replace it with the Z28, but I think I'll be gone before it's out :!: :(
