I was astonished at the weekend that when I had put 2 child seats in the back of my Camaro for my two little girls and was going to see if the double pram fitted in the front seat, I was astonsihed to find that it went straight in to the boot of my convertable with no problems at all leaving the front seat still empty. What a practicle car. For some reason I thought that was really cool. I previously found one good pram and a cheap fold up one could fit but just didn't think our normal double pram would fit. The whole family can go to the car shows now... PS Any one needs adivce on car seats and prams that fit in Camaro's I'm an expert. PPS The car seats feels really safe as well as they are inside the wheels so feel that if had a side impact the girls would be safer than any other car. Thought I would share my joy. |

I can get my Wife's mobility scooter in the back of my '94 Z28. Who needs a crappy little 'wrong wheel drive' hatchback? |

It always amazes me the the number of threads along the lines of "first child on the way, what 7 seater MPV to buy?". My camaro's been the main family transport for us for years (wife and 2 kids). I take out the rear trim panels and spare wheel (replace with can of tyre stuff) for holidays - loads of boot space. Now daughter is now 14 and at 5-7 taller than her mum, so finally I am moving to a bigger car. here's a picture of the trip to centre parcs: |

Very nice. My car is retired from being a fam car. It is now a daddy's loud toy that loves to wake up the neighbors in the morning. |
