Dear All I have sad news Spen King died recently Spen designed the Range Rover, the original Land Rover and was a much lauded free thinker, inventor and innovator Who will forget the JET 1 Rover Gas Turbine car from the 1950's? He had had deteriorating vison but still insisted on cycling- and had an accident His god daughter Nicola Wilks told me this I expect we will hear about him in the motoring Press |
