Post subject: | Help |
Hi i am a final year student at Coventry University studying Automotive Design and am in love with the Camaro especially 1st and 2nd gen. I don't own one yet but will in the near future i need your help as I am going to design the Camaro of the future 9th gen (2040). I would like as much information and opinion as possible on what makes the Camaro such an iconic vehicle and what you think would improve the vehicle visually, mechanically and ergonomically and why. Also i am currently building a 3d computer model of one vehicle from each of the generations i currently have a 1968 Z28 and am working on a 1971 SS but i need orthographic views (top, front, back and side) of a 3rd and 4th gen Camaro any model is fine (just let me know what model it is) if you have any possibly in a haynes manual. I would appreciate is massively and post pictures and animated videos of it once is it completed along with pictures and videos of my design for the 9th generation. Thank you very much and i hope to here from you soon Michael Gillman michaelgillman@hotmail.co.uk |

There's a lot of other articles on Thirdgen.org under mutlimedia in the menu at the side, the site seems to be down at the moment though. Camaro source is very good as well, covers all generations too: http://www.camarosource.ca/ I look forward to seeing the results |

As long as whatever you bulid in the future looks like the 5th Gen, then you will be spot on...... After all, the 5th Gen IS the best looking Camaro-EVER, FACT P.S Only old very old people will disagree with this FACT!! |

Hi I found the article you should be looking for It is in the articles section of CCCUK under the heading: "Future of the Camaro" It might offend some- the points are still true- and at least GM acted upon it!! |

Thank you so much for all of your help so far in finding those pictures and that great article all will come in very handy. If anybody fancies posting their opinion of their favourite or least favourite generation of Camaro and why that would also be great maybe get a little debate going. Thanks again |

After all, the 5th Gen IS the best looking Camaro-EVER, FACT P.S Only old very old people will disagree with this FACT!! Nah, 1st gens rule period!! that's why GM styled the 5th gen after one only very young people, that don't know about their cars roots & heritage would make such a statement. 1st gens are THE original GM muscle car, all the others are pretenders to the crown cheers...Nige (all very much tongue in cheek ) |
