Went to Santa Pod today, had first go at the 1/4 mile. Not many cars there, prob due to crap weather as usual, so thought i'd sign up and have a go. WOW addictive, ended up racing against an LS1 Camaro, Wont win any awards with a 14.6 et at 89mph but who cares it was great fun. Heres a couple of pics

Cheers........Tim

PS im in the red one

not a bad time at all, hey its nice to see some 4th gens running

I was up at york on monday and running poo times, best was a 13.5 but my 0-60ft was 2.350, just cant get power down on street tires. Pod is much better track, you dont spin up too much as its super sticky :D

Yeah, great to see Gen 4's in action. Not a bad time at all.

I've been thinking about it......

Luke did well at York it was pretty wet!

I'm heading down to Santa Pod for the Main Event with my tent, maybe see you there.

I was at the pod at the weekend for my first time and I can see what you mean about a slippery slope!

It was awesome fun, I don't think my manual box was helping my times though. I always had at the back of my mind what they say about T5s and going ping easily...

My best was a 15.2 @ 92.3. The 60ft was 2.1, not sure if that's good or not

nice run dude,

the 0-60 is good for a 15s car. 10 sec cars run like 1.6-1.7s ish 0-60 ft, mine is a 13 sec car and should be able to run a 1.9s 0-60ft with grip, hence why my 2.350 was poo :)

2.1 aint bad for yours :D
