Toying with the idea of doing the June 18-20th weekend with a mate that's got a '67 Cougar. Went last year in the daily with friends & had a chilled weekend. Believe it or not it's the wifes idea, as she likes the venue & fancies going camping  not really one for doing shows myself to be honest.

cheers...Nige

After being made redundant in April, my shows/ race meets will be seriousely curtailed this year,
I'm doing the "hotrods and thrills" run this weekend (7th/8th/9th May) at Kirkbride airfield in cumbria, it has a full 1/4 mile strip and timing gear, (some heavy hitters are hoping to make it too, with the possibility of some 8 second street cars ( Paul Houstons' '68 firebird and Jon "MOOSE" Hollingworths cortina)
the second event i'm deffinitely doing is the "hotrods and HILLS run in the lake district in June, this is a driving based show with a cruise on the saturday of around 80 miles through the best scenery in britain !
both these events are organised by cumbrian hotrodder Craig Dixon (his all steel, injected 460 powered 32 roadster is sheer perfection !)
