Hi Guys

I have not seen it myself yet but I've committed to buy a lovely 4th gen Camaro Z28 at the end of the month.

I've got 2 third gen Firebirds already but this stunning V8 came up and I just could not resist. I'm starting to feel a bit of an addict right now.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and bone up a bit on the Firebird's ugly brother (I'm going to get rollocked for that I know). I don't expect any major surprises in general but the LT1 I am looking forward to wrestling with.

Catch you later, pictures to come in February.

I picked up my Z28 from Cornwall on Saturday lunchtime and by yesterday night she was in Munich, a 950 mile trip (not including channel crossing).

Ran like a dream and hit a top speed of 142mph in Germany of course. There was more but it was dark and busy so I'll wait for a quiet Sunday morning before going for the next max speed test ;)

Well impressed. Being a Firebird owner I wasn't sure I'd like it. I'm not a fan of the 3rd gen Camaro but this 4th gen is just such a nice car. Comfy, quick and handles nicely too. The steering is quite heavy (which I like) but the gear changes are a bit harsh.

How many gears does this auto-box have ? I can select [2], [D] & [D] the second D is overdrive I guess.
