...but not these http://www.tuffstuffperformance.com/ according to NastyZ28 their parts seem to get the thumbs up mostly.

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.

I´ve been looking at their alternators on Summit this afternoon.....quite expensive.
Out of the blue my alternator quit. :thumbdown:

It´s a Powermaster 140 amp, the second one.....165 Dollars.

This one is only four years old too.

I did order a repair kit but on inspection it´s not specified as to which alternator it repairs.
Cancelled that and ordered up a similar one at 145 Dollars.
It´ll cost me €200 to my door. :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

Mine is at a garage having the stuff repaired that was supposed to be done before I picked it up! Oil leaks, brakes and door locks and latches.

Good news though, it is all done now and I will be getting it back on Monday! :)

Six years!! Damn I think I would have gone (more) insane!!
