When they´re producing 99.99% of all our material needs they just stop production and say "Hands up, we´re in charge."
Then every Chinaman in every Chinese restaurant, takeaway and shop rises up and takes over. :lolno:

But I want my valve covers first please..................

Just read that the iconic American Jeeps are now owned by Italy and made in Italy:

Even some Snap-On tools are made in China, but we only have ourselves to blame.
Case in point, many years a go when I was turning spanners we had a Volvo V70 towed in with a broken front suspension lower arm. Not the fault of the part as it was never designed to go off roading and hit rocks.
Guy brings in his own part, much against my wishes, but all the shop owner ever saw was dollar signs and he padded the labour bill to compensate for the loss of the parts markup. The Moog box (supposedly top of the range and used by NASCA) had the gut wrenching made in China label.
Put the part on, set the alignment and off he went. A few weeks later he was back with a squeaking front suspension. After the inevitable argument that it was my fault I took it off and he went back to wherever he bought it from and got a replacement. Fitted it and away he went, but you guessed it, he was back a few weeks later with the squeaking. I point blank refused to do any more free work by fitting junk Chinese parts. I then explained that the only way to properly fix his car was to use genuine factory parts. He grudgingly agreed so I got an estimate together.
The very first thing he said when I told him how much a genuine Volvo control arm would be was, "Can't you do it cheaper?"
Those few words have destroyed the manufacturing industry in Europe and North America. :(

I find this funny / ironic. I work for a U.S company and there was some literature the other day about how we (a U.S company) can't trade with communist countries i.e North Korea, Cuba etc. But China.. oh that's ok, we can buy materials from there, we can trade over there. But err, communism bad (unless there's profit involved).[/quote]

I seem to remember it was Richard Nixon who started the rot by giving " Most Favored Nation" trading status to China .There was a time when Presidents looked after the interests of citizens and companies in their country and tried to keep vital industries strong .
Now it's all about crony capitalists at the top creating monopolies in trans-national corporations making profits offshore .
Pile it high, sell it cheap for as long as the Bankers keep printing presses going...

Do you remember Bethlehem Steel ?
They made the steel for the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the materials for countless US.Navy ships and other massive projects ...
American government allowed cheap imports to penetrate the home market, Bethlehem was destroyed and as a final insult one of their major plants was dismantled and shipped to China !
Being a traitor seems to pay very well for some ...

China is now getting to be a little expensive, so manufacturing is moving to India

Please note the safety clothing, glasses, dust masks and shoes given to the workers, and the extensive lighting and ventilation system.
How can Europe or America compete?

Bet their pensions and workman's comp are as good as the safety practices
In the bigger picture it is just one example of how the globalists are winning while the populations of America and Europe continue to sleep-walk to disaster...
By the time people wake up ( if they ever do )it will be too late .
