Car Details:98 Z28 convertable - Green
I got given an 82 Z28 Camaro when I was 17 from a rich relative (23 years ago) and couldn't afford to drive it. Being a student I could even afford a new tyre. Owned it 3 years and only drove it when I brought it back from France (it had only done 6k miles). 13 years later I wanted a new vehicle. I 1st looked at 4WD's but when I saw the fuel consumption that they give ( a Land Rover Disco) I thought well a Camaro does better than that. And now being able to afford one, started looking into it, realised how cheap they are relatively to any other car. I was amazed at the fuel consumption of the new shape (at the time) and it was a no brainer. I also remembered the sound of the V8 and thought thats what I want. Thats my story.
Also it just so much different to M3's suburu's, XR3i's, Jag's etc. In my mind it will always be a classic and turn heads and I never care about spending money on it.

Car Details:Hi Guy's, she's a 91 met grey 3rd gen with a 305 V8 and T tops, and a genuine 26,000km, no rust, landed from japan in 2005, 3 uk owners and I love to bits.....
For me its because my dad and uncle used to sell american cars as I was growing up so I can
remember going in my dads 60's vette with the roof down and the awesome sound of the V8 under the hood so i guess the enjoyment has just stuck over the years as I have grown up.
He has retiered now and drives a clapped out Honda, my things have changed alot over the years. I used to have an MX5 which was ok but not in the same league as american cars I think Iam hooked forever ;) Cheers Jason
