Following on from the thread started by Starskyknight in the tech section of the forum, what skills do you wish that you could learn?? I'd love to be able to do upholstery like Gabes on American Hot Rod on TV. Alaso I'd like to be able to speak French fluently as i'm looking to maybe buy a farm there

Given the time what college courses would you enrol on & why??

Cheers.......Nige

I'd also like to take a course on using an English wheel for making panels from scratch. I studied it in college years ago, but would like more experience with it,

cheers...Nige

I wish I could fully service the car. Engine Management systems and Immobilisers are a skill too far.

Maybe I should have an open day for everyone. You get fed up with an english wheel after you catch your thumbs for the 3rd time, 4th time and 5th time.

Yeah, caught my fingers the first time too, made sure it didn't happen again. I found it all very therapeutic as I love making things from metal. Strange as I hated metalwork in school with a vengeance

cheers...Nige

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
