So, last Saturday of October this weekend.
Will anyone join me at the Ace?

The following day, the first Sunday of November, I am going to a PistonHeads Sunday Service at Ally Pally, which includes free tickets to the Classic & Sports Car show which is on there.

Shame that this means missing out on the gathering at The Goat at Hertford Heath, which I usually go to on the first Sunday.

The Ace had a good turn out, considering it was almost November.
After Twisted left, I had a bunch of guys trying to persuade me to go to Chelsea, but I declined, having told the Mrs I'd be home for dinner.........I'm as keen as the next guy, but I'm not completely stupid! 8-)

The PistonHeads Sunday Service at Ally Pally was good, misty when we arrived, sunny when we left.
The cars in the halls were from another world, with prices higher than a four bedroom detatched.
Doubt that most of them ever get driven, which, for me, completely defeats the object of having a desirable car.
The Spitfire outside the entrance (Supermarine, not Triumph) was a nice touch.
Thanks to PH it was free, otherwise it would have been £25 a ticket.................and I would have been at The Goat.
