Is owning a musclecar now becoming a hobby for the rich? It seems that prices are still high for cars even in the economic climate we're in now. If you look at some of the builds going on Stateside they seem to spend incredible amounts of money on their cars. Is this pushing the price beyond the average car enthusiast or are there bargains still to be had? Cheers..Nige

I think we all did  I think that there are still bargains out there, it's just that when one comes up you really have to jump at it rather than um & ah about it. There's a '73 Camaro advertised in this months Classic American magazine for £800.00 & it's only about 3/4 hour from me. A friend of mine wants a Camaro so I told him about it. He was gonna wait a week or so before ringing him as he was a bit busy at the moment. Bargains like that don't come up very often, especially on your own doorstep. Mind you I guess I scored lucky with my white bullnose Trans Am as that was only £400.00, but it was being used as a dog kennel at the time   Cheers......Nige
