Went down to see it when it was for sale privately near Woking. Its had stripes added I see.

I was offered it for about half the new price (and turned it down). Unless its had a fortune spent on it he has high hopes.

these overpriced cars just dont sell as there is cars on ebay for over 2 years now ...
but this is the best one .. for the last year or so every couple of months it appears and everyone bids for it then it appears again ......

In the case of the above, to be fair, I wouldn`t give it away either.

How can you put a price on a car? I suppose its supply and demand/ public perception/ desirability etc etc.

I mean, 2 door MK2 Escort maybe needing welded and stuff - £-name your price ..................mint 2 door Z28 or SS £-Too much.
