Did anyone see the record breaking drive by french rally legend Sebastien Loeb in his Peugot 208 T16 recently.

... It's also the second oldest car race in the US, only Indy 500 is older. It's also a technical nightmare for performance cars due to the height of the race and thin air, as the finish line is at 4300 metres.
It's the first year the hillclimb has been fully tarmac'd as previously it was half gravel, so whilst more exciting due to big slidy rally style turns, the times would have been slower though. Loeb blitzed the existing times which was expected with his 8 min 13 sec time, but the next quickest car was 49 seconds slower, which is an incredible acheivement.
