Car Details:1983 Chevy G20 305 4bbl 700R4 - A-Team Van sucker!
Location:Isle of Man
I used to read Street machine as a teenager, I then got a couple of Beetles, one of them seriously modifed. I am jsut obsessed with cars, American cars and Rods mainly. Not interested in the latest Pagani Zonda or Mercedes etc. Its gotta stand out for me.

i'd rather drive a classic everyday and put up with the niggles, than drive a humdrum car. I have to sometimes, but it doesn't last long and I end up back in a Yank again!

Lazy Sunday 1989 was the first Rod/Yank show I went to (in my Citroen Dyane - like Toad in American Grafitti) couldn't afford to run one or insure one until years later so got into VWs :)

When I was 17 I used to own a Ford Pop, a '37 Morris 8 tourer & 2 MG TA's. ( my dad liked collecting cars  ). When I was an apprentice my mentor was well into the American car scene having owned God knows how many classics over the years. He was always telling tales of what he'd done with the cars & it just seemed light years away from the vintage scene I was involved in. In '79 I bit the bullet & sold my MG's & bought a '69 Firebird & have been on "the dark side" ever since  Cheers....Nige
