Car Details:1988 IROC-Z, custom interior from the 90s.
Or not.
While the IROC-Z's been in the garage the last couple of weeks, I've been given a Megane Scenic 2 litre thing to use.
I've been doing the same trip to and from work with it.
And guess what?
I think it's actually a little worse on fuel than the Camaro.
I've put in about £30-£35 in to the Megane each week.
I generally can put £50-£60 in the Camaro and it'll last 10-14 days.

These modern Euro boxes - gas guzzlers I tell you!

Haha... the big old V8's do come into their own sometimes...

I remember back in 1997 in February, I drove to The Austrian Alps, near Kitzbuhel in my 5 litre IROC. From memory I think I had to fill up twice, and still had fuel when I got there, and was cruising mostly at well over 100 when possible..
Did the same trip in August 1997 in my 2 litre petrol Transit, similar sized fuel tank, and obviously cruising at more like 80 at most, and was fully loaded.
The van used at least half more fuel than the car !!!!!!!! probably nearer to 4 tanks...
